    Tape large black plastic garbage bags to your table. Everything slides on it. Cheap to replace.

    That's sounds like a really quick/cheap fix and a good idea! I'm going to try that!

    I had trouble a couple of times and think i got basting spray on the fabrics itself, not just the batting inside. So my fault. otherwise, the silicone spray should help. spray on a rag and wipe the surface. make sure it's dry before doing any quilting.
