Thread: Quilt Odyssey Hershey Pa

Any comments what did you think of the show. I was so disappointed and before I always enjoyed attending that one!!! Just curious to see if I was unjustly disappointed......

It was my first time at this show so I have nothing to compare to. I thought some of the quilts were incredible and enjoyed them. However, I went partly to compare to the AQS show in Lancaster and thought I would probably not go back to Hershey and continue to go to the Lancaster show.

I've been to Hershey 3 times, and AQS in Lancaster, Charlotte and Syracuse once each. Hershey is by far my favorite. Charlotte and Syracuse were nice, but Lancaster was spread out over 3 floors, crowded, and the displays were intermingled with vendors. Very distracting when one wants to look at the quilts.

This is the second year in a row that I attended the Hershey Show. I found it much less crowded this year which was great for me, I could move about much easier, though I guess not so great for the Vendors. I enjoyed the show both times and will go back again if I have the chance. I especially liked the way the quilts were displayed in a separate area.
