I love looking at all the finished quilts you show. I especially love it when you tell the name of the pattern and where it came from. It is inspiring to see the quilts done and know that others can do it too.

When I was in college I did a long paper on the origins of quilts and the names. What I found most interesting is that in the past the name of the block depended on where you lived in the country. The same block had many different names. I believe the name of blocks is much more uniform.

I also love when people tell the size. It doesn't have to be the exact size but rather wall hanging, baby, crib, throw, twin, full, etc. And I especially love seeing ones that are designed by the maker.
