Default Quilt patter

Has anyone seen a quilt pattern for something cosmetology related? My daughter is attending cosmetology school and I would like to make her something, possibly a wall hanging.Thank you!

There should be a lot of patterns for scissors since they are quilt related too. You might also be able to find fabric with some cosmetology designs on it and use that.

Timeless Treasures makes a Hair Salon fabric. Here's one shop--I'm sure there are more.

What about a nice tote bag made from cosmetology fabric. That way she could take it everywhere, it would be something she could use ( and brag about ). Just a thought.

If you don't find a pattern I'm sure you can find some appliques to use. Wouldn't be hard to make your own either. Go to Sally's Beauty supplies, they may have some photos of chairs, blowdryers, curling irons, shears, clippers, hair designs. Ask your daughter to look at one of her class books. She should have something in the book you may be able to trace and then enlarge. Take a photo of what you have at the house and do an overall design from that. You can trace right from your own vanity area.

maminstil has great comment. Didn't see it before I put my 2 cents in. But many ideas out there. I was a hairdresser before real estate for 35 years. Stories I could tell your daughter. Like a client who thought she could use Vaseline on her bleached hair so she could get a perm. "NOT" to both situations.
