Our semi annual quilt retreat is coming up. Only a week away! We have so much fun at this gathering every year it's unbelievable. It's almost like we are all little girls again cutting loose. One year my dearest friends (now deceased  ) got a 'fastest bra in the South" going! This was to see who could get their bras off the fastest & keep them off for a whole week! We play quilt bingo, exchange little trinket gifts, you name it, we do it. We eat until we can't eat any more & we sew until we can't sew any more! But I am looking so forward to it. ONLY ONE WEEK AWAY. I am going on Wed-Sun.

This is a "tahhhhh Dahhhhhh" you can only go up there when you finish your project

this is the view out on the patio. It's always sooooo pretty

This is us! (well not me, I'm taking the picture!) all crammed in the sewing room. It is now limited to the first 20 people because we had too many show up one year & were crammed in there like sardines!

Have a wonderful time! I just got back from a weekend with my daughter, sister, and a couple of friends. I want to go again, but my machine gets car sick. she sews just fine at home and makes bird nests when she travels.
