A Good Friend, like an old quilt, is both a Treasure and a Comfort
there is also Mid South Sewing and Fabric on Kingston Pike just east of West Town Mall. Gina's on Kingston Pike in Farragut, also Best sewing machine next to Books-a-Million it too is on kingston pike.. Maryville has Pappy's, not to far past the airport. Pigeon Forge has the Cherry Pit and the Red Barn just off Dolly Pardon Pwy. Go to the Row by Row experience to see the shops listed for TN.
Going west to east, you have:
Gina's Bernina
Sewing Machines Etc
Mid South Sewing
Mamaw's Thimble
That's Sew Mary Jane
Stitches'n'Stuff
Dizzy Divas
I hope I haven't left anybody out.
Also as previously mentioned if you venture out to Sevier County there is Machine Quilting by Iva, The Cherry Pit, and Mountain Stitches by Susan.
Enjoy your stay. You picked a great time of year to visit our little corner of the world.

Mammaw's Thimble is my overall favorite in that area. Wonderful layout with FQs above/below the huge selection of bolts.
Nice folks own and work there. Always a plus in my book.
BTW, I love East Tennessee!
If life gives you lemons, make Limoncello!
Thanks for all of the suggestions. I never even thought to check out the row by row website! Good way to make sure shops are still open. Thanks again.
Mountain Stitches by Susan is only open Monday through Friday no weekend hours. It's a nice shop, as with the other shops very helpful folks there. Her shop is in the area of other craft stores, pottery, candles, painting, hand carved things. It's in Gaitlinburg
If you are coming across Interstate 40 Little Blessings Quilt Shop is at exit 317 in Crossville. Come off the exit, turn left or right depending on which way you are traveling, and they are the blue building about a quarter of a mile down the road on the left.
I love Mamaw's Thimble! They had a huge selection of 1930's reproduction fabrics when I was there last summer. Knoxville also has a couple Joann Fabrics if you don't have one near you.
