There are so many temptations when you go to a quilt show. I am going to the one in Madison, WI. Today I bought a mini iron, fabric for a design wall, sports padding to used for i-Pad covers, a package with 5 1-yard cuts of fabric, a ruler that helps finish your binding and a ruler for cutting bias strips. Most of that was in the last hour. I volunteered for 3 1/2 hours so that cut into my time. What in the world will tomorrow bring? I think I had better go to several lectures and maybe do another shift of volunteering. There are just so many pretty things and fun gadgets!

Went to Quilt Expo yesterday:
Got fabric for $2.00/yd ( bought 2 of five yards) cut off the bolt!
A surgical seam ripper (desperately needed!)
A BlocLoc for squaring up HST
A PFAFF Ambition 1.0 sewing machine! Really excellent show price!
(..and a bunch of fabric that we don't need to talk about...)

Sewmary~a new sewing machine? Wow! Lucky, lucky you!!
I saw the surgical seam rippers but have never used one or even heard of anyone using one. I got the bloclocs last fall. They are great. And I must say that I really enjoyed the salesman for them. I missed the fabric for $2/yd. Shoot!
I wonder if we saw each other.
I bought so much today that it was killing my shoulders and neck to carry it in the Nancy's Notions tote bag. It's all still out in my car since my son seal coated the driveway and I didn't want to drag everything across the yard into the house.
