    In my experience it comes out when you wash it. That is, if you used basting spray like 505, June Tailor, or Sulky KK2000.

    Yep it is horrible to get off things you don't want the spray to be one. Cover the floor with something bigger than your project - like an old cotton sheet (on my one guild we cover our cutting tables with brown paper - tape it to the table top) - and you shouldn't have a problem with overspray. Maybe vinyl table cover (depending on the size ofo your project) will work - or even some flannel-backed vinyl from the fabric store.
