quilt wall plan?

I have about 50-55" wide X 60-65" tall. Space
Curtain rod (strong) make a material loop put on curtain rod, to attach silver on both sides (insulation 1"-2") (lowe's) then flannel over it and tacked down with glue spray. Then I can use tacks to put quilt pcs. up
and decide on where they go ( or pins).
Seems ok. I have used this insulation on for large bulletin boards. I am I thinking right?
