Default Quilt As You Go

I need instructions to do a QAYG throw for charity. Something easy and fast, if that is possible. Any suggestions?

This sight has some quilt as you go ideas. As long as you pay attention to keeping the pieces lined up correctly, you should have quick success.

I compiled a few for my quilt guild. The links can be found here...

Maybe one will get you grabbing fabric

What about a snowball? I did a practice run (3 squares) doing quilt as you go and the snowball worked well. Other patterns might not work as well.

If you don't mind hand sewing, I have done hexangonal blocks that are about 24" across. I used the birthing method to complete each block then quilted each one. Then I simply handstitched them all together.

Jenny Doan, web address http://www.youtube.com/missouriquilt.../0/rl_OPPpXNLM has an extremely easy pattern for a QAYG pattern.

The 90 min quilt is a kind of QAYG. Watch the video all of the way through. At first it just looks like picts but there are instructions closer to the end.
