I'm curious about this. I know there are tutorials on here, but I'm hoping someone can direct me to one that would be a good place for a first timer.

I used Penny Halgreen's tute a while back and it got me hooked. I hope I spelled her name right. There are a lot out there now.

Go to You Tube and put in Quilt as you go. They show a great tutorial on how easy they are to construct. Hope this helps you.

Ditter, (member of this board) has a lovely tute on string quilt as you go in the tutorial section.

I made some Christmas Stockings a couple of years ago doing this method, (I didn't realize it was the QAYG at the time, acutally I didn't realize it until I saw this post. lol), I love it. It makes it so much easier and faster.
