I made these for my BIL who has Parkinson's, but with exercises and therapy he can now get around using his walker. These were fun to make and he can use the three pockets in the train one or the two larger pockets in the sailboat one. He is a big train lover and a fan of the beautiful state of Maine.

I did very basic quilting, but am tickled with how they turned out.

Did you use a pattern for this or is it yours? It would be nice to make for the veterans hospital. Where can I get it? Thanks

I started with a pattern in a book from House of White Birches, +5 +10 Fat Quarters, and then went totally off on my own. I would be happy to share what I did and what I would do differently when I make some more. Let me know and I'll try to put together a simple tute.

I started out with the idea from a pattern, but went off on my own. I'd be happy to share what I did and what I learned not to do. I will make more of these for our senior center. They are fun and I wish I'd had one when I was on oxygen 24/7.
