OK I am taking my sd card to town with me today and making copies of my quilts to put on cards and such and buying card stock. Staples is one of my stops and they have lots of paper items. No scrap booking stores here. Thanks everyone for sharing where they buy things.

Betty Boop is licensed? OK then her bettyboop.com site should have plenty. I'll have to look.

Check out www.cardsbymarylee.com. She is a friend of mine and she produces quilt, sewing and barn quilt greeting cards.

I made my own Christmas cards once. They went to family and my father was the only one who appreciated the time I had spent. The rest threw them out with the other cards..never again.

I buy them when I see them. I end up wanting to keep them! I have some embossed ones that I love the most.

Candlelite Quilts of Chelmsford, MA, makes really cute quilters cards. The front is a picture of the quilt and quilt name, open it to find the pattern for the quilt, and on the back you can write your note. The best part is that the quilts use 8 half yard cuts for the quilt top.

They are out there. The challenge is for quilt shops to stock them. Not all shops understand that they would likely sell them if offered. To do it right is to have a floor rack or counter spinner to display cards, stationery. Just tossing them in a cute basket wont work. The initial investment is probably one obstacle. A filled card rack costs into the hundreds of dollars.

But people do by multiple cards at one time. Hence the success of Hallmark stores! I always stock up on cards to have on hand.

You can cut a pattern from your fabric, spray glue the back of the fabric and stick it on a card. You can zig-zag the edges or use ric-rac, whatever. Works great. Just buy blank card stock from a office store. Hope that helps.
