I think I burnt myself out by trying to get all my Christmas projects done, I haven't had the new motivation to start anything new. Anyone else like this? I think I am getting over it, but not totally yet.

Happens to the best of us  Just allow yourself to take a break- pet some fabric- maybe look at some books or magazine - relax and enjoy  It will be back soon

Yep, been there before. I go thru that every few months. I sew something else like a purse or someting and that usually brings me back in the mood to quilt.

Take the opportunity to sort through your sewing area. Flip through a magazine or two. Look at pictures on this site. Relax, those are quilting activities, too. Soon, you'll find your fingers an-itchin and your toes a-twitchin and a quilt a-burnin to be made.

I do the same thing just after Christmas. Give it a little time, the urge will come back.

My problem is that my working area is being turned into a nursery (for
March) and if I want to sew something I have to clean my kitchen and use my dining room and being 31wks pregnant I just don't have the motivation either :-/ and I have baby stuff to finish :-/

I don't think I've ever gotten burned out, but I sew when I want and when I don't feel like it I don't. I mostly do quilts "just because" (unless it's for a baby), so I don't have any deadlines that get me frustrated or crazed. I say take a break and don't worry about it. Do something else you enjoy, or just do nothing for awhile! It'll be there when you're ready. :D :D

Sorry to hear that. You could always clean your home...that usually spurs me back to my quilt room. :-)
