    Being a "newbie" I do not know all the quilting abbreviations. Please list the abbreviations you know and what they stand for. It's frustrating to read a pattern or blog or article with these and try to figure out what they mean. Thanks

    Go to the tips page. Click on the link and page down until you find the list. It is buried a little and we get this question often.

    Welcome

    Do a "search" at the top of the page, you'll find lots of threads on abbreviations.

    there is a list- there are so many==
    fq= fat quarter
    fm= free motion
    sid= stitch in the ditch
    dh=darling hubby
    dd=darling daugter...ect

    do a search of abreviations- should come up....
    or if a specific one has you befuddled- ask about that one.
    after awhile you will find you can figure them out.
