Has anyone been able to watch the new Quilting Arts TV program hosted by Pokey Bolton? As Quilting Arts is one of my very favorite magazines, I was really excited about the launching of this new quilting show. She has wonderful guests on her show but the pace is so hurried and she is such a nervous, uptight host, you really come away with an impression of these techniques but not enough information to feel comfortable tackling new ways to create a quilt. I thought Alex Anderson herded the guests on her show too quickly, but at least there was only one featured guest per episode. Pokey features about four or five guests/techniques per half-hour show. It's the Berlitz method of quilting instruction. I'm still watching and recording every episode, but I doubt I will purchase the series DVD. It's a shame because her guests have so much to bring to the table but they are being cut short.
