has the most pieces? I'm looking for blocks with over 90 pieces.
I know there's 'tree of life' that has 128 pieces or so. What else?
I think I should change my nickname to NotSoEasy.

If I'm counting correctly, this has over 200 pieces.

http://adventuresinhandpiecing.blogs...s-compass.html

And you must piece it by hand.

You have one hour to complete the block.

Start...

NOW.

I'll be back to check.

Forgot to mention...I'm looking for non paper-pieced blocks...just regular traditional pieced blocks.

How about changing it to Masochist?

I took a quick look through the EQ library and came across this block - Perspective Grid, with 121(?) pieces. Of course, like the Tree of Life you mentioned in the OP, you could make them HST's and double the count.

Now, me? I would PP sections of it, but you can certainly draft 20+ templates if that's what rocks your boat. ;)

I will continue searching for more torturous blocks. ;)

Hmm. Now look who is being Masochist here. LOL
How can I get out of this one? Please ignore my original post.
I posted accidentally. I typed this while sleeping.
I was being delusional. So there. ;-) ;) ;)

Actually I found quite a few traditional blocks with lots and lots of pieces.
I'll post them later for those interested in my torment. LOL

Ok. I don't have EQ so I can't post the actual blocks.
Edit: Found some on quilterscache.

Aunt Rachel's Star - 152 pcs
http://www.quilterscache.com/A/AuntR...StarBlock.html

Birds in the Air - 164 pcs (this along could be a quilt on its own). LOL

Indian Plumes - 93 pcs
http://www.quilterscache.com/I/IndianPlumesBlock.html

Minnesota - 97 pcs
Windmill II - 96 pcs
Twelve Crowns - 125 pcs.
(very similar to mccalls but with more pcs I think)
http://www.mccallsquilting.com/qb/pa...3_2/index.html

All the above are from Judy Hopkins 501 Rotary-Cut Quilt Blocks.
Anyone game?

Don't know if I will attempt all of them but I should make at least one
then maybe I'll be cured for good. LOL
I'm also on a sewing diet (my house is a construction zone again).
As soon as I can get back to sewing and I finish my niece's quilt
I'm going to make one of these blocks. Will post picture then.
