when a topic says new message on page 132, whats the easiest way to get "back" to that page from, lets say, 140 with out scrolling backwards thru 139,138,137 etc.... Is there an easier way???? Just wondering

The only way I have found is to keep hitting the forward or back button....

Same here. A bit annoying if you have loads of pages, but my guess is admin. is probably working on a shortcut.
    Let them know.

I think it has been mentioned in that thread.

I agree - if what I want to look at is on page 40 of an 80 page thread - a short cut would be nice -

Until Admin suggests a better solution, try this. Go to the first page of the section you want. Look up in your browser address bar. Using the Main section as an example, it will look like this: http://www.quiltingboard.com/s-1-1.htm The two numbers, 1 - 1, represent the forum section (1 for Main, 5 for Pictures, etc) and the page number of that section. Change the second number to the page you want and hit enter. You will go right to that page. So, if you want page 132 in the Main section, it would look like this: http://www.quiltingboard.com/s-1-132.htm Very easy really. Does that help?

Once you are in a thread, the two numbers refer to the thread number and the page number of that thread. So, for very long threads, you can move around inside them the same way...just change the second number.

Thank you - I never really looked at that line - mostly because I had not idea of how to interpret it - your explanation is very helpful.

So I just need to change the number before .htm ?
