    Lightbulb A quilting challenge

I'm not sure I'm posting on the correct page but here goes. My son is retiring from the Calif. Highway Patrol soon and I want to make him a quilt using pieces of his uniform and pictures. Has anyone ever completed a quilt for a CHP or police officer? If so, I would love to chat with you and would love any ideas any one of you may have.
    Thanks, Donna G.

I haven't done one of these, did ask my gson to save me his military uniforms for me to make a quilt for him.

However, there are some folks on here that have and you may be able to find info by googling quilts of valor or quilts from uniforms. I know there are instructions out there because a while back I was looking for instructions.

Good luck and bet he will love the quilt, however you do it.
