That is posted on this web site...I signed up to make a quilt for a little boys birthday in Dec. whose parent is in the federal prision system, he will be 7, you get to send it directly to him. those are all I have found, oh Binkys for babies is also one...( we always called the pacificers binkys, but they call the quilts_ oh they take any type of new blankets, also knitted etc.

Linus Project has a chapter in every state.
Any local hospital, police who give quilts to kids if they have to be picked up, quilt guilds have contacts for quilts, battered shelters, homeless shelters.
Any hospital will take them. some go to nurseries while others go special children's units. Cancer hospitals.
The list goes on and on.

Quilts of Valor for wounded soldiers

Local police and fire departments, for when children are involved in the police or fire activities.

Local women's shelters, for those who've left home with nothing.

Our quilt group makes quilts for local DHS Foster Kids
We make quilts for the Veteran's Home
Quilts for Nursing homes
Quilts for Kids
Quilts for Animal Rescue Program CATLINK-
Church programs for Families in Need
Quilts for 3 Half Way Houses in our area
Quilts for Cancer Patients through our local hospital.
Quilts for Raffles for Historical Society, Community Food Banks and for church mission trips to Mexico/ Bolivia

There's ALWAYS a need. You'll find one or two or more places you have great passion for so where there is caring and passion, and will find out just where you want to help out. Thanks for wanting to help.
