Quilting computer language
#1
I'm the first to admit that I'm not terrbily "with it" regarding all the shorthand lingo used on computers and phones. I've picked up on what a few stand for -- lol = laugh out loud, LQS = local quilt store, OBW = one block wonder. But it would really be nice if some super savey person could collect all these into a 'tutorial' or perhaps the administrators could make it a 'sticky' for all us "notsowithit" people and newcomers out here trying to read all these posts. It took me quite awhile to figure out the OBW one!! And I don't think of myself as being a dumb person, either!!

Here's an earlier thread with a link to several abbreviations.

I came up with some after searching the web as I was also confused.
I put them on the following topic:

If anything should offend someone, let me know and I will delete it. I got them off many sites and some were not appropriate here so I deleted them. I may have missed one or two.

You can use the Search button at the top to search for "acronyms" which will return several links to earlier quilting related posts. Took me a while to figure out some of them and I'm the "Acronym Queen" here in work. :-)
