I never wear shoes indoors. I have have problems with my feet ever since I was a little girl. As soon as I walk in the front door my shoes come off. I went to my SIL to help her make some totes out of some of her GGM blocks and the first thing I did when I sat down was kick my shoes off and start sewing. My SIL was shocked! It is so automatic to me that I have never thought about it before. She went on and on about it and told all of my other SIL. I can't sew with my shoes on. I can do anything I want in my own home, but I am curious to see if anyone else sews barefoot.

I never where shoes in my home either. I am always barefoot or have footsox on.

When I did take a class I wore my shoes, but kicked them off to do homework. :) :) :)

I always take my shoes off inside. Your shoes track in pollen and dirt, but the oils from your barefeet are not good for your carpet. I try to wear socks but right now it's too hot and humid, soooooooo I am barefoot!!!
Wonder why she was so shocked????
It's normal to me!

I didn't know there was any other way   I do usually have some sort of sock or footie on, and I do watch for pins and needles, especially at classes  Now if I could just get rid of some other restrictive clothing....
