Hi all, I was wondering if anyone has a pattern for a folded fabric pineapple or log cabin block?

i think i know what she wants, but i dont have a pattern for it. Instead of sewing the strips together, the strips are folded in half lengthwise, and sewn on the raw edge, and the fold gives it a 3 dimensional look

Hi Cathe, thanks for getting back to me so quickly, however, what Barb M posted is the idea; the folded fabric definately gives it a 3D look. Although I like the website you referred me to! :D

Maria I have seen one and have it in my mind to complete it. I was amazed by the texture, it was the log cabin.

Do you think it would be paper pieced or sewn on muslin, it needs a foundation. I am thinking if you had the lines on muslin as guides for the placement.

I might have to go play with it while you have me thinking about it again. I have fabric I bought 8 months ago just for it.

I went to Ebay and searched under foldy stuff .. holy cow there are some on there. So I bought 4. LOL

Just another project what the heck!

Dawn & Cathe, you guys are great! This is exactly what I was looking for! Now I just have to find the time to go on E Bay - I've not done this before, but everyone tells me it's not a big deal, maybe over my lunchtime today, Thanks again!
