So glad you had so many ideas to help. I want one to hang down also and might have dh build the Hinterberg.

I have My Maw Maw frame that hangs from the ceiling I do the same a Lacelady work out great don't forget to tilt it saves the back.

I seem to remember my Grandma and Aunt resting theirs on chairs when they quilted on the frame hanging from the ceiling.
