Ok, here's the scoop. I have been looking for months on ebay for a Dritz Quilter's Floor Frame at a "very" reasonable price. You see I am a disable vet and can only fit a small amount into my budget. $100.00 is just way more than I can manage, even half that is a bit pricey. I wonder if any of you can suggest any other avenues for purchasing this specific frame. I watch yard sales, estate sales, and local ads, both on the interenet and newspaper. Ahhh.... I can only dream. Any suggestions are more than welcome. I have ran out of ideas. :D

Did you try Craig's List? Or Free Cycle?

Yes'm, I have tried both. But very leary of Craigslist, as there has been a rash of "psuedo" ads and potential sellers / buyers being robbed in the Nashville area. But, that is a great idea, thanks. :)

How about making it? It's made from PVC pipe and fittings they probably have all of the things you need at Home Depot.

I have researched that very idea, however, the 3-ways that I need are not readily available in brick and mortar stores, as the are considered furniture grade PVC and I would need to purchase them online. By the time I paid shipping for those and then purchasing the materials, plus ordering the clamps online with shipping charges the cost would only be about $15.00 less than what they retail for. :)

I've seen them at JoAnn's. Perhaps you can pick one up with a 40% off coupon or at their Columbus Day sale.

have you requested your local store to order them for you? They probably have them in a warehouse some where and can have them delivered to the store for no additional cost? My father installed sprinkler systems for a living when I was younger I know that sprinkler systems have occasion to use a 3 way pipe. You might check with a local sprinkler system installation person they might have some and you could buy them from them

I couldn't find the 3ways locally either only online so I just modified the frame to use what I could find locally (elbows and t's) and I spent less than 20$ making mine.
