Hi, I'm looking for some advise on purchasing a quilting frame and machine. I'm looking at a SuperQuilter frame and Juki machine. Does anyone know anything about them and how well they work. Thanks

I sure don't know anything about them, but I'd like to welcome you to the board!

Thanks for the welcome! Is there anyone that has a recommendation on a quilting frame and machine? Any information would be greatly appreciationed. They cost a lot of money and I just want to make a good decision. Thanks

Cricket,

Try posting in the 'Main' section of the forum. This section is for introductions so it probably doesn't get checked by all the members.

I have never tried one... However I did purchase a Hinterberg.. I liked the idea of just using any machine with it.. Now my only problem is that I do not have the room to put it up here :( Going to start looking around to see where I can squeeze it in so that I can use it..

My Mom and I just bought a frame and machine. We did a lot of research, and tried getting some from ebay. We finally ended up with a Hinterberg frame (rather than grace, because I think they are much more stable). We found a mid-arm machine that didn't cost any more than those Juki machines that come in the package with the grace frame at Bailey Sewing machines. It's a very basic machine, but it only cost $350 for a 13" throat. Hope this helps you find something, because it really is worth it!

I find it hard to believe that you got a Bailey 13 inch quilting macnine for $350. Would you please tell us which brand and model you got? I am sure a lot of people would be interested since this machine sells for $1499.

Ania, tell us exactly what you want to know. Is it aobut the frame, or the machine and if so which one are you interest in.

You may PM me if you want some specifics on the Bailey options.
