I am making a quilt 12 square across and 14 down I want to use clamshell design to quilt ..Where do I begin to quilt.Im kinda new at this!tyvm! :shock: :shock: :roll:

I am hoping to hand quilt...I think im hopeless :(

I'd start in the middle of the quilt with marking the clamshells. You can adjust them as you get closer to the edges, whether you're hand quilting or machine quilting.

i never had the guts to do that one. i do think that hand quilting it is the best choice, though.
