Thank you. I don't think most people realize where their electricity really comes from, or what the coal miners go through to do it.

Its a hard life, but he wouldn't have it any other way. His daddy, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great grandfather (and maybe more, LOL) were all coal miners. Not to mention my dad, my grandfather, etc.

I do not want my boys going in the mines, though. That's one of my bigger fears, they are going to finish college and get a nice, quiet, safe job! Its hard, though, my oldest one only sees it as I can work RIGHT NOW instead of in 4 years , you know? Doing what my daddy does. Its been a battle with him, but I'm going to win this one.

My father was in a cave in in 84, he broke his back and hasn't been the same since.

The kitty is adorable, but please don't let him play with thread. My friend's beautiful Himalayan kitty was in her sewing room and was playing with a spool of thread. She got really sick and they took her to the vet. She had unwound and swallowed a bunch of thread. It got wrapped around her intestines. The vet did surgery, but he couldn't save her. Even though kitties love to play with thread, it isn't safe. I would hate for anything to happen to this adorable kitten.

I just can't seem to get enough of your kitty pictures!!! I have to check in on a regular basis to get my fix for the day! Your captions are perfect, and that precious little furbaby face is so sweet!! ;)
