Agreed....they can call them by any name they choose,but I choose not to pay the inflated prices.

Not that it matters to them, but I like having choices.

WAY too much!! And they have sooooooooooooo much advertising. Between all the wonderful pictures, patterns, etc on this board and free stuff on the internet it's hard to justify spending anything on a magazine. And then there's the library - Free fits in my budget!

I used to buy them until the prices got too high. Now I just log onto the magazine's website and they alway have free patterns to print out. You can also go to " www.freequiltpatterns.com". I have found more patterns this way than I did buying those magazines. The Public Library has quilt magazines that you can check out too.

Are you familiar with http://www.quiltville.com/ There are tons of wonderful ideas for scrap quilts and more. I agree for that price i would by a real book.

You can log onto" Connecting Threads" website. They always have free quilt patterns." Quilt In A Day" does too.
