I need to find a really good marking pencil brand. I've tried several. Want white and silver that will hold a sharp point. I mark all my fabric after I get the quilt sandwiched. Do not want to wash quilt just to get markings out. I'd like a pencil that can be erased easily. Can anyone help?

I use soap slivers. no problem with washing, but sometimes lines wear off before I get to area to quilt.

Try the "Ultimate Pounce". It disappears with the touch of an iron and shows up/stays on really well.

I'd agree with the iron-off Pounce powder (or iron-off Micacle Chalk). I use these in my longarming, and they've always worked great for me. You can use them for a stencil or in a chalk wheel.

Hope this helps,
