Default Difference in Accufeed and Pinfeed

I have the Brother 1500S machine which has Pinfeed. I hear a lot about people liking the Accufeed on the Janome. What is the difference?

The pin feed is just like it sounds. A pin sticking up. Accufeed is a Janome feature. a built in walking foot - kinda. The machine system has several different feet. Regular sewing, open foot, stitch in the foot, 1/4" foot. You can buy a regular walking foot for the 1500. I like the pin feed when applying binding. However, I really prefer the Accufeed system on my Janome 6600.

Thanks. I have the walking foot. I love the machine, but just wondered about the difference. I've never had a Janome machine.
