Thanks, I really appreciate the kind words. I actually tried your idea and could not get the hang of the FMQ. Tried and tried, actually. At times like this, I keep thinking, "Why am I trying to quilt? I should stick to painting!" But, alas. I'm already planning my next project!!!:)

how about some ribbon candy in the blocks? I think the piano keys in the border is a great idea. Where do you live in AZ? I'm in Glendale. deciding the quilting design is always the hardest for me. I once circled a quilt for 3 weeks before I could even get started on the 1st border. It DID get done, but I think I dreamt about it for a month!
