Default Quilting ruler

I am looking for the handle you can attach to the acrylic rulers when cutting with a rotary cutter. Do any of you quilters know what I am talking about and if so what are they called. Thanks in advance.

I suspect you need what I use all the time. They sell them in the fabric stores but I went to Harbor Freight and bought one. They call it a bathtub handle or something like that. It attaches to the edge of bathtub to help people get in and out of the tub. I found it was quite a bit less expensive than the brand name ones in fabric shops. The one I bought is white with blue trim and has two suction cups. I leave it on my 6.5 x 24 inch ruller all the time and helps to keep ruler from moving when I am cutting fabric. I think it is just called a bathtub safety handle. They have them on Ebay, too.

I have seen them at Walmart too, around the towel bars for bathrooms. Harbor Freight had two sizes when I got mine. Like Sandy says, much cheaper than a quilt store.

I purchased mine from aldi supermarket. Look for disable section . They also do a very small handle and a single. I met one lady who was using the dent pull out tool which is the same idea but stronger.

All good suggestions. If you purchase at your local quilt shop will be much more $$

Harbor Freight also has a suction cup with handle that is $3. You can use that on smaller square rulers.
