Hi. I am a quilter and a doctorate student working on my dissertation. I have a short survey (only 9 questions) that I need quilting participants to answer to help me with my research. Just finished it for you. BTW, my DD just included the story of underground railroad quilts in a presentation in English class. She was writing on "Hope in Hard Times" and had to use multiple genres to illustrate. I think quilts are such a part of our history and society that a teacher could use them in multiple ways. Good luck on your dissertation.
