Does anyone know where to get a pattern for clothes for one of these cement garden geese? My boyfriends mother was asking me, because she knows I sew. She said that the clothes used to be sold in craft fairs, but now she doesn't see them. I have looked in the internet, but I haven't found any patterns.

I think Lillian Vernon still sells the clothes in her catalog. Maybe you could get one and use it for a pattern. If I had a goose, I would make a basic pattern, but I don't think I have one the right size. Mine is a cookie jar. I know they still sell plastic ones, but I've never seen a cement one.

Simplicity had patterns out for them years ago, you might try looking in their pattern book in the costume section?

Don't know where in Illinois you are...but...they still are sold at craft shows. I know of at least 3 crafters that sell only Goose clothes at the shows. PM me and I will get you info when I see them in the next month. The Goose Guy has a large variety. And so does Judy. I'll get the info.
My Mom has 3 different size geese and a full wardrobe for all.....

Sorry a little off topic here ... Wouldn't it be funny to begin making clothing for those yard Gnomes and flamingos?

Some fleece capes and hats wouldn't be hard to make patterns for, and could be embellished so many different ways. Just a thought. :-D
