Nursie if you don't find the maroon you're looking for, let me know and I'll dig through my stash and see what I have in it. I think I might have some, just not 100% sure.

I've made several and have taught others. I do it two ways:

1)add borders and sew them to the quilt with the raggy part on the same side as the raggy blocks. Then I stitch 1/2" seam around the outside border for stability and clip to the stitched line

2) Cut the border twice as wide, then fold in half lengthwise. Sew the raggy seam on the raggy side of the quilt. The snooth end then becomes the final edge of the quilt. I run a stitch along the edge, but don't cut it.

That's so sweet of you! Thanks for offering. I will keep that in mind. Won't be able to fabric shop this weekend as I am camp nurse at a Bereavement camp for kids this weekend, but hope to get some done next week, even if it has to be in NY (we are heading up to visit our son again.)
