I purchased thread to match a rag quilt I am making for my DGD. I am now ready to start sewing the squares together and I just noticed it is 30 wt thread. Will this be strong enough to hold the rag quilt together or do I need to head for Joann's to get 50 wt?

30 wt thread is heavier than 50 wt thread, so you should be just fine. :D:D:D

with thread, the lower the number, the thicker the thread.
