raggy quilt using HST??

Has anyone ever seen a raggy quilt made with HST?Can this be done?? has anyone ever tried doing it??

I have to wonder how much fraying you'll get on the bias cut of the HST. Let us know how it works out.

I was just thinking the same thing. As long as the sew line that joins the triangles is on the bias, the 4 exposed (and ragged) edges are not and should fray nicely.

I would sure like to see what you can do! Soundslike a plan to have straight of grain edges meeting with bias edges.

When you make chenille, you cut that on the bias for maximum fraying. :wink: Maybe you could cut a few pieces and make a little mini sample and see if you like the results :D

Oh I like the chanille and sample ideas.. my momma had a chinelle bed spread when I was like 6 or 7 and I loved snuggling in it on her bed at nap time.
