Well, I finished the little quilt for the three year old friend. My daughter gave it to her and she loves it. My daughter babysits her sometimes and she told me they will be sitting on the back porch just "hangin out" and the little girl will tell her that she's cold and needs her "blanket". So my daughter will go get it for her. It's 80 degrees out! She takes the "balnket" wraps it around herself for about two minutes and then puts it beside her. Guess you were right, there is no time when it's out of season to give a quilt! Thanks

I still use my quilts when watching TV or having the rare nap on the couch. I like the air conditioning on but at these times I do get a little chilly and want to snuggle up. She just wants her blanket nearby, that's sweet and shows it is loved.

I gave a Christmas Quilt for an August wedding present. It's safe to say she didn't get duplicates of it:)

I gave some quilts to two young ladies for high school graudation a few years ago. One of their moms took a friend by to show off daughter's apartment and both girls were wrapped up in them, it was 100*+ that day! When you need a "hug" and some "love" from someone who cares, temps don't matter!

My room in on the third story and I don't have air conditioning in my room cuz the windows are too small. But I have a fan, and even when that's going cuz it's warm, I still have a quilt over me. I wake up with it at the foot of my bed, but it's like a security blanket thing to me because my mom made it and I know there was a lot of love put into it.
