Years ago I saw a quilt book named "Big Block Quilts". Don't know why I didn't buy it then. Problem is, I have no idea who wrote it and only recall that all patterns were for larger than 12" blocks. Does anyone have knowledge of that book? Thank you. Marge L.

Marge there are quilt magazines out now that feature big block quilts...I have seen them at walmart...any block can be a big block..just adjust the starter squares to enlarge them...

I have a book by Cindy Casciato's called Block Explosion these blocks start at 12" to 20". Hope this helps. The book was written in 2004.

Thanks girls. I think this could well be the one. Believe I'll try the library, also.
