Default Recommend pattern for unique fabric sqaures (6")

I have 48, 6" squares of a very unique batik, 3 of each pattern that are very bold colors with lots of black. There will be no more of this Bold on Bold batik. I need a simple quilt that highlights the fabric square without cutting it up further. Black fabric could be used for sashing, but I don't want this quilt to be boring same thing over and over. I want to pay tribute to the makers of the batik in the quilt. I can't think of a pattern. Any suggestions, please? I would buy a pattern if necessary.
Thank you,
Linda

Oh, a picture would be great. The fabric sounds wonderful.

I would do something in stars or HSTs if you don't want boring repetitive squares. Maybe the "All Stars" pattern at the Moda Bake Shop. There are a lot of good ideas there and they're free.

Warm Wishes could be adjusted to the size of your squares and would be lovely. There is a free pattern out there.

Default Unique batik

Here is a design using oriental fabric that might work for you.
I can send your directions as this is a design I created.

Missouri quilt company has a video about taking squares and making 2 cuts with a flip and sew inbetween Its for 10 inch blocks but I bet it would work well with a little adjustment for the difference. It makes a sort of double nine patch and would preserve the integrity of the fabric a good bit. I also like the one posted above. Show us the fabrics if you can Best stitches

Many of us are visual thinkers, and it sure would be nice to see the fabrics to come up with some ideas.

A few that come to mind ...
D9P
Boxed Squares
BQ, BQ2, BQ3
TATW
Sawtooth Stars
Square in a Square
Square in a Square in a Square

Hobo ... great quilt and very effective way to showcase those fabrics!
