Just ordered the Big Shot Pro from Joanne's, it was on sale and I found an online coupon for free shipping. Now I just need some dies. Has anyone used the spellbinders dies? I saw them on Amazon.com and they seem to be less expensive than the ones geared towards quilters. TIA for all input :)

The only spellbinder's dies I know of would not be suitable for fabric as they are wafer dies for paper only. I have hundreds and hundreds (and hundreds) of dies from various manufacturers. Might be wrong (not the first time ;-) )
Hopefully someone else will correct me if I am!

I have spellbinders dies and the big shot and have not had much luck cutting quilting cotton with them. Other people say they work fine so I don't know. Even if I put a piece of paper on top, it cuts through the paper fine but the fabric is always not cut in a pretty significant area.

Too bad, they have the "nestabilities" in the basic shapes -square, rectangle, and circle for a lot cheaper than Accuquilt dies. Thanks for your answers.
