Default Recyled quilt top

I made a quilt top from a kit (now I know why it was on clearance) and I really don't like it at all. I didn't want to spend the money on a backing and batting so I decided to cut it up and make place mats and table runners. I got 10 mats and 2 table runners out of it and used scrap pieces for the backs. I took them to a craft sale and I sold every one of them.
Who knew?! At least I made my $$ back!

Very smart of you to think of that. I have always believed there is a use for almost everything.

Yes, pictures please. I have a kit I purchased many years ago and now the more I look at it, the uglier it is. I wonder what made me buy it. I put it in a garage sale a couple of times, but no takers. Maybe this would work for me.

Wow! You are a very resourceful woman! Congratulations! I don't think I'd have thought of that. I'd have just donated it to Project Linus or something.
