I had a Velocity 100. On the back of the iron below the plug:
http://www.vacuum-direct.com/reliabl...home-iron.aspx

That was the filter. Couldn't find any more

You had the V50:
https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/sto...ron/1018076268

From this ad, it doesn't look like it has a filter from the description.

I have a Reliable iron and I love it. It is a Velocity Digital. I have had 2 Rowentas and will never buy another one. The Reliable is heavy but I like that. Mine has never leaked. I use distilled water in it and I dump it out after each use. I have not had to replace a filter yet. I use it to press large pieces and use a smaller iron to do seams when I piece.

My Reliable is by far the best iron I've ever owned. I figure it's worth the price as you don't have to keep replacing your cheap iron every few months. I also iron clothes and it makes quick work out of that with all the steam!

By the time I looked, only one third party seller on Amazon had any. I know who she is and she is reputable, but she could only have a finite source.

Allbrands had none, and Reliable had none on their site either. None of the other sites who sold Reliable irons had any.

Interesting thread. I am in the market for a new iron and it will not be an Oliso! My Oliso stopped heating and it was less than 18 months old. I loved the steam it produced so I will look into Reliable irons.

I've had a variety of irons. Even those from the dollar store work great - all depends on your taste.

Have you tried the Reliable website?

I just looked and found the filters there also.

I've had the same Reliable iron for years, and wouldn't have anything else. Period. In all those years, it has never, EVER spit water, and steams for freakin' ever!

They weren't there when I was in the market for them. I put the iron in the Goodwill. If they are there now, it's because of complaints about having an iron you can't care for. I thought at the time it was rather dumb of Reliable NOT to support the Velocity.

That Velocity is 2 1/2 years gone, and the Oliso is going.
