Although we are unable to go up north I would like to make something for him. He is retiring in a few weeks. With so much to do I don't have time to make him a quilt. He is retiring from John Deere. Have any ideas for something that I could make him with the John Deere fabric?

Maybe a John deer panel with some quick borders? I have seen some really neet panels. I have one but my husband has claimed it.

This is one that I did think of right away this afternoon when I got the invitation. He does like to cook on the grill.

I made a John Deere quilt and loved it but for retirement I think an apron would be great.

Does he travel or use a gym? An overnite bag or duffle bag would be good. About.com has a free pattern.
