Use heavy decorative threads in the bobbin to create an interesting stitch that resembles rows of French knots. It's perfect for quilting fabrics or embellishing garments.

1. Set your sewing machine for a quilting stitch; Set the stitch length at 2.5mm and adjust the top tension to 8. Select a walking foot and insert a size 75 quilting needle.

2. Thread the bobbin with a heavy decorative thread such as Ribbon Floss, Pearl Crown Rayon, or Madeira's Decor 6. Mark the stitching lines on the wrong side of your quilt or garment. With the right side down, stitch along the marked lines.

Happy Sewing,
Sondra
