    Ricky Tims Seminar

A friend and I had the opportunity to attend the Ricky Tims Seminar in Morgantown, WV this past weekend. It was awesome! If you ever get the chance to attend one of these I would highly recommend it! The information is extensive, the seminar guide is very detailed so you really can do the things they teach you with the documentation provided, and the whole thing was just very well done. There are lots of breaks that are long enough to recharge after all the teaching. I feel like it really would appeal to just about any quilter.

Has anyone else attended one of these? What did you think?

I was able to attend about 3 years ago in the Tri Cities. Awesome!! Yes it was spendy but so worth it. If I ever get the chance I will go again. Mr. Timms teaches in a way that makes it easy to learn, even us old dogs got to learn something new. LOL I'm sure I only remember bout 1/2 he tried to teach me. LOL

Capacity six hundred? At $200 a pop? How does he teach so effectively to so many?

Large capacity, but less than a hundred are currently signed up at each venue.

I had the opportunity, but just could not justify the tuition amount. I kept converting the number into yards of fabric I could buy instead!

My sentiments exactly! In all venues, not just quilting, ticket prices rise to what the market will bear. These quilting divas have lost their minds! It's outrageous . . .
