Default Ripples and Reflections (BOM) quilt design by Laurie Shifrin

My LQS is doing this pattern for their 2012 BOM. Is anyone else doing this one? Here's the link to her pattern:http://laurieshifrindesigns.wordpres...ewdesignimage/

I'm not sure if the fabric will be the same, but I love the purple and turquoise together!

I don't know of any shops locally that are doing it. It looks like a beauty so please don't forget to provide us with photos!! (I agree I hope the fabric is the same colorway - those colors together are stunning!)

Yea, the BOM isn't inexpensive. But it really helps me to get out to the shop and enjoy the class. Didn't do the one this year(2011) and have regretted it!

Did you find the directions for this quilt completely understandable? I'm working on the 4 patches which is in lesson 2, and the H rectangles do not fit the 4 square. So I'm thinking I could just piece what I need, but then I'm afraid I will run out of fabric. What does Laurie mean when she says "strip piecing?"

Probably sewing the strips together then cutting the size shape you need out of it.
