I got to go to my first sewing and quilting show yesterday in Denver. Wow, what beautiful quilts. There was all kinds of gadgets and machines to look at as well. Guess what I found, a seam ripper with a magnigying glass and a light! Yes, I had to have it, and yes, I've already used it.
I would have spent more time there but it had started to snow and I wanted to get home before it really hit. Too late, we drove home in white out conditions at times. That's Colorado for you.

I just saw that seam ripper at my LQS yesterday. It didn't come home with me.

Pics from the show??

What wowed you?

I like the sewing expo because there's a huge variety of stuff, not just quilting.

The quilt show is the last weekend/first weekend of April/May. It always has some outstanding quilts and is well worth going.

I was wanting to go, but we all have been sick. I agree with you about Colorado weather, so unpredictable.

I will be going to the Mancuso in April too. I prefer the expo as they have a lot of new products and not just quilts. I like the notions and all. I like the quilts too but there is so many alike.

I probably won't get to go to the quilt show in April this year. It'll only be a couple of weeks after we move and I'll still be unpacking.

I'll probably be up for the quilt show in Loveland in August though.

No, I remembered to take my camera, but we also took our 2 year old granddaughter with her dolly and stroller. So watching her to make sure she didn't get too many ankles and all, I didn't even dig out the camera. My DH looked at some of the long arm quilters and tried to get some info for me. As I said there were some really beautiful quilts there as well as other things. I was surprised at all the fabric. I didn't know that would be for sale as well.
