Good job, glad you had motivation to do it.
Yes, that is the most arduous part for me too. Switching to spray basting made it tons easier but it is still the task I dread to do the most!
Good for you. I need to have a sandwiching weekend. It's time for me to quit practicing on my Sweet Sixteen and start quilting some of my tops.
I am guessing its the size of the quilt that makes it so harduous. I make mostly lap size and single bed and it doesn's seem to bad as long as I have got my math calculations right. As a senior it sure helps keep rhe mind alert- ha.
Oh yes...... I agree with the sandwiching part of quilting I dread the most. If I could hire someone to do that part I would be a happier quilter. But.....alas......that is just one of the quilting processes that I have to suck it up and get that job done. Because the end result is so worth it.
My quilting friend & I sandwich together. Makes it much easier with two people.
